Description: Diesel Service students experience all phases of repair work on diesel engines and heavy equipment. Classroom and lab activities utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment and tools to repair and troubleshoot all aspects of diesel operation, service and maintenance. Students also practice with the use of technical manuals, hand and power tools, and testing and diagnostic equipment. Instructions in personal and environmental safety practices as related to OSHA and other agencies that affect industry working in the ground transportation technical areas are also covered.
