Dear Prosser Student/Parent/Guardian,
Welcome back! I hope each of you had a wonderful holiday break. Although the holidays looked different for many this year, I hope you had time to relax and enjoy your families. As we start the new semester, Prosser is excited to say that we will resume in-person instruction starting Monday the 11th. With this mind, I have a few reminders:
COVID protocols are still in place. Students and staff are expected to maintain social distancing and also wear masks at all times appropriately, up and over the nose.
If you don’t feel well or have been exposed to COVID-19, please stay home and have a parent call our attendance line.
Automated district calls concerning COVID-19 exposures will no longer take place. Instead, individuals will need to access the NAFCS website which will be updated daily with recent exposures. Those that have had direct contact with a positive, will still be contacted by either Prosser Administration and/or the school nurse.
Students will need to have prior permission to drive to Prosser from both their sending school and from our Prosser Administration. Students will need to also purchase a parking tag.
- Wednesday, January 13th and Wednesday, February 10th, Prosser will be VIRTUAL…students will not report to Prosser.
Open House this year will be virtual and will take place each evening during the week of January 19th-21st Program videos will be posted and each evening there will be a live question & answer session with Prosser teachers, staff and administration.
Again, we are excited to have our students return to in-person instruction and look forward to seeing each of them this Monday the 11th. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us at 812-542-8508. Thank you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Nancy Campbell
Principal
